This 26 Minute Assault Bike Workout Will Leave You Feeling Super Strong
Both have excellent build quality, a relatively quiet and reliable belt drive, and electronic monitors with a decent amount of modes and metrics.
A wind wheel has a fan. This is where the resistance comes from. Push, pull and pedal to move the fan. And the faster you go, the harder it is to move forward.
As with all air bikes, the handles are in constant motion and there is no free rotation of the pedals.
Apart from the obvious fact that you'll be pulling and pushing with your hands - there are no gear changes and these bikes get harder and harder the faster you go.
Raze Renegade Assault Air Bike
Neither is the equivalent of a road bike, but they are powerful machines that allow you to generate incredible amounts of speed.
There are no gears - just a belt driven single stage fan. Air wheels make a good noise, especially when going with maximum effort.
The Rogue Eco Bike has ten fan blades - and they're not small. Despite this, it produces a quieter and more pleasant sound (to our ears).
60 RPM is a good point to test. 60 RPM is a cadence that can be normal for anyone using an air bike.

The faster you go, the louder the bike gets - the fan is quite loud. But let's not compare on crazy performance levels - because you won't be pedaling that lake for long.
Why is that? We're not sure - but it makes a high-pitched sound that's less pleasing to the ear.
The Eco Bike makes a slight 'whistling' sound - as the wind accelerates and is fanned by the fan.
One comment people have made about the Rogue Eco is that it's harder to pedal than the Air Assault bike—the most popular bike used in many CrossFit boxes.

If you compare the fan on the Echo to the Air Assault bike fan - you will see that the Echo has more blades and they are much bigger.
That means you're moving more air with each revolution of the pedals—and that means more effort (and noise.)
The Echo is built with stronger and more durable parts – but the build quality of the two is roughly equal.
The AD Pro has one advantage - there are multiple grip positions - unlike the Rogue bike.

There are two levels of horizontal grip and you can also use the vertical portion of the grip for a third option.
With the Rogue, you can see everything at once, whereas with the Schwinn, you often have to switch screens.

Neither unit is backlit, meaning both are difficult to see in the dark - you need a light source.
The Rogue Eco Bike is very stable - and the advantage is that it is less noisy.
The Rogue is slightly easier to pedal and this lower resistance makes it a more attractive option for low intensity steady state (LISS) exercise.

If you can find an AD Pro/AD7 for a good price, it might be worth it - but if you're buying new, we recommend the Rogue Eco Bike.
