Aircraft Services Group - Private Jet Services Group (PJS) is expanding its own fleet as parent Elevate Holdings acquires Keystone Aviation. The move will bring 13 charter aircraft ranging from large-cabin Gulfstream G550s to Pilatus PC-12 turboprops. It is a continuation of the consolidation trends of the industry.

Elevate was already building its charter fleet. Currently there are five large-cabin Bombardier, Dassault and Gulfstream aircraft and a full-size Citation Sovereign.

Over the past several years, major players including Wheels Up, Vista Global, Directional Aviation, Jet Linx Aviation, Jet Edge, and Fly Exclusive have all been involved in various levels of M&A activity, including brokers and operators.
Independent brokers say other benefits have meant the acquired fleets are mostly reserved for the buyer's internal jet charter and membership customers. However, Raiff says Keystone and PJS will operate independently.
Aaron Fish, Keystone Aviation's current Chief Operating Officer, will lead the new organization as president. Keystone Aviation employees will work alongside the Elevate Holdings team when the companies merge, while TAC Air will "continue to be paid as a strategic partner."

Raif says Elevate is still working on branding. There are plans to use the Elevate name as the holding company, and Keystone will be the operator. PJS Group will continue as the brokerage unit, focusing on ad hoc charter, jet charters, corporate shuttles, live entertainment, and sports team travel.
Raif says that the deal will double Elevate's full-time workforce to approximately 200. He declined to give sales figures. He called the purchase "the first of many."
Aircraft under the management of Elevate Holdings will receive preferential access at TAC Air's 16 US-based FBO locations. As part of the transaction, Keystone Aviation will have dedicated terminals at selected airports. SLC flights will operate from a new customer terminal at Salt Lake City International Airport. Additionally, there are lounges in Scottsdale, Ariz., at KSDL, and Provo, Utah, at KPVU.
A key area of collaboration is combining Keystone's deep expertise in management focused on multiple bases with Elevate's model for managing aircraft at different owner locations. Raif told him: "Like combining peanut butter and chocolate."
